ELEVEN POSSIBLE TERROR ATTACK SCENARIOS TO DEFEND AGAINST ON THE 10^TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9-11!  WILL THE TERRORISTS STRIKE US AGAIN?  by Victor Baines , President of the Nostradamus Society of America

Once again our prayers go out to the victims of 9/11 (as well as to their families and friends) on this tenth anniversary of their deaths.  We also pray for the safety of all of our military and security people around the world who work so hard to protect our freedom.

Almost ten years after 9/11, Osama bin Laden was finally killed by a team of elite Navy Seals in Pakistan. The combination of quick action by our Seals and the quality work of our intelligence community ended the life of “the evil one” who was responsible for the carnage of the September 11 attacks upon our nation.  And as a result of this raid—al Qaeda, or what’s left of it– is out for revenge against us! And that’s a fact.

So, as Americans we must ask ourselves the important question “will any deranged terrorists attempt to perpetrate any new acts of terror against the United States (or our allies) on the tenth anniversary of 9/11?”  Well, maybe they will, or maybe they wont!

However, it makes good common sense to “err on the side of public safety” and to take the prudent position that an attack might be imminent!  Therefore, we should “prepare for the worst”, in case the unimaginable happens, so that we can be ready to effectively deal with whatever might come our way (if anything bad comes our way at all). So, “better safe than sorry” when it comes to defending against potential acts of terror! Right?

Cutting to the chase, if any evil terrorists are busy plotting horrible crimes of terror against our nation, what might their viciously deranged minds be thinking?  What should we be guarding against?  What should we anticipate?  What is the range of possibilities for us to consider when it comes to potential terror attack scenarios for the tenth anniversary of 9-11?  Will September 11, 2011, simply be just another hot and uneventful summer day?  Or, will it be a day from hell?  I guess nobody knows for sure!

But based upon my “personal intuition” of things, combined with my knowledge of  current events, I have constructed a list of what I think are 11 possible terror attack scenarios that we should be on guard against on this tenth anniversary of 9/11 (as well as into the future). By pondering the potential merit of considering what could go wrong, it allows us the opportunity to develop prudent defensive scenarios, in order to guard against them (in advance of any trouble) as a way “to defeat” any terrorists who might wish to attack us.  SO, TERRORISTS BEWARE!

#1.  CIVILIAN AIRLINERS BEING SHOT DOWN BY SHOULDER LAUNCHED ANTI-AIRCRAFT MISSILES FIRED FROM BOATS NEAR NEW YORK CITY

A huge number of small shoulder launched anti-aircraft missiles stolen from Gadaffi’s weapons caches in Libya are missing.  The fear is that these highly effective, small and easy to hide missiles could end up in the possession of Islamic terrorists who might wish to use them against the United States (and or other NATO members in Europe). As revenge against NATO, Gadaffi might have intentionally sold some of these missiles to terror groups, in hopes that they be used against his enemies at some point in the future.  Therefore, terrorists might attempt to transport these missiles to America on ships, then launch several speed boats from a mother-ship off the coastal waters of New York City, in an attempt to shoot down large civilian airliners or military jets, then escape by boat.

Terrorists might attempt the same plan of attack in the waters off of our Pacific coastline too.

Solution: Increase the number of U.S. Coast Guard and Navy ships patrolling our coast line, rivers, ports, and harbors, up and down the east coast (and especially around New York City).  Fly squadrons of F-16’s, F-15’s, spy planes, helicopter gun ships, and drone spotter aircraft (armed with missiles) in these areas so that terrorists can be quickly identified and eliminated. Have spotters on the ground in addition to having spotters in boats. Pay attention to anything unusual.

#2.  CIVILIAN OR MILITARY JETS BEING DOWNED BY SMALL ARMS, BY TERROR SQUADS, NEAR AIRPORTS OR MILITARY AIR BASES

Islamic terrorists could arrive in passenger vans on the outskirts of airports, and or military air bases, and park directly underneath the flight path of jet aircraft as they land.  With the airplanes just 100 yards above them, they could fill them full of holes with machine guns or RPG’s, in hopes of hitting the plane’s fuel tank or cockpit with a lucky shot–shooting them down and creating death, havoc and destruction.

Solution:  Have armed guards on foot and in jeeps and patrol cars to monitor and guard the outer perimeters of airports. Plus, have armed troops in armored vehicles to patrol the perimeters of our airbases in a highly visible manner as a way to deter terrorists.

#3.  RAILROAD PASSENGER TRAINS BEING ATTACKED BY SMALL ARMS,  OR BOMBED OR DERAILED, BY ISLAMIC OR DOMESTIC TERRORISTS

A small band of terrorists (either foreign or domestic) could hide in a wooded area next to a rural section of a railroad line, one group on one side of the track, and another group on the other side of the track.  Using small arms they could empty dozens of clips on a passenger train as it rolls by at 70 miles per hour, killing many passengers. They could also attempt to derail a train, or use small bombs, or RPG’s, to blow up a train car containing flammable or toxic chemicals in a populated urban area, causing death, destruction, and havoc. I see this as more of a threat in central and western states of the Untied States of America.

Solution: We should put armed marshals on board passenger trains to guard against this threat.  In addition, small aircraft and helicopters could fly over major railroad lines with infrared gear, in order to look for any suspicious activity on the ground near railroads. State and local officials should add additional patrols near rail lines too.

#4.  AERIAL ATTACK BY SMALL, SINGLE ENGINE AIRPLANES OR      ULTRLIGHT AIRCRAFT, FLOWN BY TERRORISTS

Terrorists could fly a small civilian aircraft (filled with explosive materials) into a populated urban area (or military base) and crash it into a building on the ground (in a

suicidal manner) in an attempt to kill as many people as possible.

Solution: The United States Air Force should put plenty of armed fighter jets in the skies over the United States in the weeks before and after 9/11 to guard against any aerial threats, over major cities, that might be presented by terror groups. State and local air assets could also assist in guarding against this potential threat.

#5.  MULTIPLE URBAN SNIPER SQUADS OF ISLAMIC TERRORISTS

Suicidal terrorist squads could attempt to use small arms to snipe at civilians, living in large urban areas across the nation, causing death, public panic and chaos.

Solution: Swat teams all across our nation (in both small and large cities) are real busy right now preparing for any potential problems, which might arise.  They will be on high alert around the time of September 11^th.  If a problem develops, they will immediately arrive on the scene to deal with it. Terrorists wouldn’t stand a chance against them!

#6.  TERRORIST “FIRE STARTER SQUADS” IN RURAL AREAS

Islamic, or lone-wolf terrorists, might attempt to drive cars through rural areas and start fires in dehydrated forests and fields in order to create havoc and destruction for us.

Solution: Millions of highly patriotic American citizens live in the rural areas of our nation.  I would guess that 99% of them own firearms. They keep loaded deer rifles, pistols, and shotguns in both their homes and their cars and pickup trucks. If they see any suspicious activity in their area, they could call for help, and or confront trespassers themselves.  Most of these farmers, ranchers, and cowboys learned how to shoot guns at the age of six or seven, and they are excellent marksmen who are happy to defend their land. Between them and their local authorities—our rural areas are well defended!

#7.  “NUMERIC MODUS-OPERANDI PARAMETERS” OF POTENTIAL ISLAMIC TERROR ATTACKS

Islamic terrorists have already exploited the number “911” as a twisted ploy in their attacks in 2001.  So, what if they thought it would be humorous, in an “evil kind of way” to “delay attacking us” until September the 13^th (or on any “Friday the 13^th” throughout the year) as the “sickest form” of a bad numeric based joke? After all, the number “13” is known to be an “unlucky number”. Authorities should stay on “high alert” until the 13^th!

Solution:  Authorities should be aware of this possibility, and should still be in a” highly defensive mode” on September 13, 2011,in case any terrorists delay their attacks.

#8.  SMALL BOMBS LEFT IN URBAN AREAS BY TERROR SQUADS

Terrorists (either foreign or domestic) could build bombs and leave them in various crowded locations across our nation as a ploy to kill innocent civilians.

Solution: Civilians and local authorities should be on the look out for any suspicious activity. In addition to this, if anyone finds any “suspicious packages” lying around that don’t belong where they are, they should quickly call authorities to inspect them.

#9.  SHOULDER LAUNCHED MISSILE ATTACKS ON NAVAL, OR LARGE  CIVILIAN SHIPS, BY TERROR SQUADS IN SMALL BOATS

Islamic terrorists could fire shoulder-launched missiles (at point blank range) at large ships in our coastal waters, in addition to firing them at aerial targets. This would most likely be a threat on the eastern coastline of the United States.

Solution: Naval and Coast Guard personnel (as well as civilian seamen) should be on “the look out” for small boats that might threaten them—and deal with them accordingly.

Our Air Force and Navy should put armed jets on patrol over our coastal areas.

#10. SUICIDE ATTACKS UPON CIVILIAN LAND TARGETS BY TERRORISTS ARMED WITH SMALL ARMS AND EXPLOSIVES

Islamic terrorists could attempt to attack civilian targets anywhere around our nation by using small arms and or small bombs, and continue their attacks until they are killed.

Solution:  Common citizens should be on the look out for any suspicious activity.  If they see any unusual behavior in their area, by people unknown to them, they should call authorities to check it out.  In case of trouble, local Swat teams would arrive to confront it.

#11.  CYBER ATTACK BY TERRORIST HACKERS

Islamic terrorists, or other unknown “terror hacker types”, could attempt a cyber attack upon our telecommunications networks in an attempt to disrupt the internet, or to disturb various government, business, and private entities.

Solution:  Business and government specialists are very aware of this potential threat.  Millions of dollars, and tens of thousands of man-hours have been spent to strengthen our defense against such a cyber attack.  Will our defensive strategies work if we are cyber-attacked by any hi-tech computer terrorists?  Hopefully so! There is also a possibility that a cyber attack could occur in combination with one or more of the scenarios above.

IN CONCLUSION: Presently, as of 9-1-11, when this article was written, I don’t feel as if a terror attack is imminent. However, things could change at a moment’s notice, and since terrorists work in an environment of secrecy– “the waiting game begins”.  Or, as Sherlock Holmes might say “the game’s afoot Watson”. Please remember that the first rule of war is to never underestimate your enemy, and the second rule is to never let your guard down.  So, be on guard America! This month, it’s time for all Americans to think of themselves as Civilian Sentries.

Nostradamus certainly predicted the events of 9/11 in several prophecies and referred to bin Laden as “the great king of Terror” who descended from the sky over “the New City” (an obvious reference to New York City).

People in the United States (and across the world) are now celebrating bin Laden’s death!

As fate would have it, one of Nostradamus’ predictions (quatrain #2-6) pertains to the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II, and quatrain #3-3 pertains to a huge earthquake in Asia.  So, if we take text from both of these quatrains and put them together in a “compound quatrain”–here is what it states:

” Near the ports and within cities, an earthquake occurs in the depths of Asia, a scourge, the likes of which has never been seen.  Hunger, plague within, people thrown out by steel, crying for help from the great immortal god“.

It is interesting to me how accurate of a picture of real world events can be achieved through this new “compound quatrain method”.  Again–we are praying for the Japanese people and hope that their problems come to an end real soon.

THE LIBYAN PRINCE POWERFUL IN THE WEST, THE IMPOTENT PRINCE ANGRY, COMPLAINTS AND QUARRELS BY THE LIBYAN CHIEF TRAPPED IN THE CONFLICT, PILLAGE BY AFRICANS, FURY GNASHING HE WILL CHASE THE AFRICAN PEOPLE.

The Libyan leader referred to by the names “the Libyan Chief, the Libyan Prince, and the impotent Prince” in these lines is none other than   Moammar Gaddhafi.  And the resulting story  appears to acccurately descibe the events taking place right now in Libya!

Is this amazing or what? So the burning question is “how will all of this end”?  Will Gaddhafi and his family “give up” and fly out of Libya in a private jet to another country?  Will one of his military officers shoot or capture him? Will the Libyan armed forces (and their mercenaries) defeat the rebel forces?  Or, will the Libyan rebels gain the upper hand and defeat the pro-Gaddhafi forces and the Libyan military?  At this point the outcome is unclear, but it will be interesting to see what the “end game” will bring.

The lyrics of a rock song, by Elvis Costello, pose the question “what’s so funny  about peace, love, and understanding”?  To me, the answer is quite obvious.  There is “nothing funny” about peace, love and understanding.  If the world  could “somehow” achieve peace, love, and understanding—it would be a better  world for all of us to live in.  Right?  Think what “the opposite” of that would  consist of—war, hatred, and misunderstanding!  And who needs more of that,  in  2011?  No one does. So, let’s try to make 2011“the best year” that we can!  Below are my “personal predictions” for 2011.  Many sources were used to create them.  Hey–a human-being made these predictions (not a robot or a computer program).  So, here are my predictions:

1.  NORTH KOREA: The leaders of North Korea appear to be “highly irrational” in nature. “Nothing” that they do, makes any common sense at all!  I wonder if what they do even makes sense to them?  They don’t make sense to anyone else in world (especially to South Korea, the United States, Japan, and a long list of other nations).  What exactly does North Korea want?  Has anyone figured that out yet?  Sometimes I wonder if the Chinese use North Korea as a thorn in the side of the United States?  North Korea appears to be “hell bent” on starting a war.  If they do—they will lose, so what sense would it make for them to start one?  None at all.    It would be the end for them if they did.  North Korea and South Korea should be at peace with one another, and should work together towards that goal.  War should be avoided.  North Korea recently made it clear that  “intruding even one millimeter into their territory would consist of an act of  war”. Therefore, “caution should be used” when dealing with them. Maybe it would be prudent for the leadership of North Korea to rethink their national goals and strategies, in order to be a better member of the international community in 2011. That would really make some sense!

2.  IRAN: Here is another example of a nation that is failing to make much sense to the other nations of the world.  How long does the president of Iran think that the rest of the world will simply sit around and wait for him to create enough “weapons grade plutonium” to field in his vast arsenal of missiles, before some type of military action against him will occur?  Well, the world probably won’t be waiting too much longer!

 To President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, I say the following. “Al Asalaam Alakum to you sir.  Although I am merely a common infidel from far away, you should heed my advice for you and run as fast as you can to the negotiating table, and make peace with Israel, the United States, and the rest of the world!  Failure to do so, in a timely fashion, might result in the destruction of your nuclear program, as well as in the destruction of your military, and the end of your government—as you presently know it today.  Peace is more highly preferred than war, so please attempt to make some—as soon as you can!   It would make good sense for you to do so. Please heed the prudent advice of this  infidel. I also tell you—Iran—that all options are on the table, and more of them are being added every day!

3. IRAQ: Although Iraq is still in the process of creating and defining itself, as a newly liberated and independent nation, a lot of work still remains to be made there.  Iraq needs to focus upon developing its own national defense forces.  I’m quite sure that the insurgents will continue their assaults upon government figures in 2011.  I’m very sure that bombings and other acts of terror will occur there this year.  U.S. and coalition forces should anticipate the worst as they attempt to protect the freedom of the citizens of Iraq.

4.   AFGHANISTAN: It is my opinion that the Taliban and Al Qaeda insurgents will continue to vigorously attack U.S. and Coalition forces this year.  Our troops should anticipate the unexpected!

5.   TERRORISM: In today’s world –trickery, deception, and technological advances have increased the scope, complexity, and speed of potential risks to our national security, and threats can arrive from both near and far, faster, and with less warning than ever before! So, we are forced to “anticipate the worst version of the unexpected”, compelling us to create various prudent defensive scenarios, in order to counter any sneaky, unusual, or creative threats, that terrorists could utilize against our nation, military and citizens.

The United States commands “a modern, state-of-the-art, hi-tech military” who is fighting “a low-tech, highly cunning enemy”.  So, when it comes to fighting Islamic terrorists, we must anticipate low-tech, low budget, asymmetric style warfare and terror–perpetrated by sneaky, cold-blooded, highly creative enemies–with extremely twisted suicidal minds (and sadistic senses of  humor).  However, in the alternative, we should also anticipate the possibility of  hi-tech threats against us in the future as well.  Aerial threats appear to be the current trend.

The United States Department of Homeland Security (and all of their various  associates) appear to be doing a relatively good job of defeating domestic terror plots, however there still appears to be “various gaps” in our defensive wall.  These so-called “gaps in security” should be evaluated and closed.  Although I  could be proven wrong in the future, presently, I don’t sense any impending doom  arriving to us this year in the form of terrorism.  However, we should  take nothing for granted, and remain vigilant in our fight against it.

6.  THE U.S. ECONOMY: Can anyone really “find the words” necessary to accurately define the bizarre state of our national economy?  How in the world have we arrived at the place we presently live in?  The people who are out-sourcing our jobs to other nations are receiving sweet tax-breaks, while many of the rest of us are struggling hard simply to make ends meet every month.  Something seems wrong about this fact.  Is it just me—or do millions of other Americans feel the same way as I do?  What happened to small business in the United States?  Has it been crushed by highly capitalized big business, or what?

What happened to “job creation”?  The Federal government claims that our economy is slowing picking up steam.  But is it really?  Let’s hope that  more progress will be seen this year.  If you own stock in any of the businesses that have received loans or bail-out money from the federal government—life must seem sweet to you (you are the lucky ones indeed).  But what about the common citizen?  Where is our help suppose to come from?

7.   AMERICAN POLITICS: It is a fact that the Bush Administration created the economic situation that President Obama inherited.  Is it really fair to blame him for all of the economic problems that Bush and Cheney created before they left power?  Probably not!

The new Republican leadership in the House claims that they are working for the average American citizen, so, if the price of gasoline rises to a price above $3.00 a gallon (bankrupting the average American worker) I want to see them fight to lower it , so that basic family transportation can be realistically affordable to everyone.  That’s the “true American way”. Otherwise, it would be “extremely un-American” for the new congress to merely sit back and do nothing while– its citizens get over-charged at the gas pumps!

8.   EARTHQUAKES: Earthquakes scare the heck out of me!  If you have ever been in one then you know what I mean.  If the New Madrid fault-line ever suffers a major quake, it could devour parts of Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, and Arkansas. In quatrain #10-79, Nostradamus predicted such an earthquake to occur at some point in the future.

It is also possible that the San Andreas fault-line in California (which runs from south to north across the state, then westward into the Pacific Ocean) could produce some mighty earthquakes in various parts of the state (including the area in and around San Francisco)?  Let’s hope that never occurs!

China, Chile, Haiti, Turkey, and Indonesia could see more earthquakes in 2011, just like they saw in 2011, but again, let’s hope that doesn’t happen. We need to hope for the best (while preparing for the worst)!

9.  GLOBAL WARMING AND CLIMATE CHANGE: According to an article in the Associated Press, the top 700 climate scientists (known as the Geophysical Union) have stated that man made air-pollution is effecting our global climate.  They state that “the notion that truth will prevail is not working.  The truth has been out there for the last two decades and nothing has changed”.

So, let’s hope that the governments of the world will listen to our scientists and work together to combat this global problem which is only getting worse as time goes on.

A combination of heat waves, volcanoes, earthquakes, blizzards, typhoons, land-slides, floods, and droughts killed a total of 250,000 people in 2010.  So, this means that “the earth itself” has killed more people in one year– than terrorism has killed in the last 40 years combined.

Flooding killed lots of people in Italy, the United States, China, Colombia, Chad, India, and Pakistan.  Could the same thing happen again in 2011?  Let’s hope not!

10.  WILL THE WORLD END IN 2012? Let it be known that despite the rumors you might have heard, Nostradamus never wrote that the world would end in 2012.  The whole idea of this originated with the end of the Mayan Calendar, which terminates on December 21, 2012.  According to Nostradamus the world will end in the year 3797 (due to burning stones from the heavens bombarding the surface of the Earth.  He referred to this event as “the final conflagration.”

Well–best of luck to you in 2011!

According to Samuel Willenburg and Kalman Taigman (now both 87 years in age) life at the camp was like a living version of  “hell on Earth”.  One could only imagine the horrors that these two very proud and brave men must have endured there (i.e. starvation, disease, forced labor, etc..)!

Fortunately, on August 2, 1943, a small group of Jews stole some rifles and pistols from the Germans, caught the hellish camp on fire–then ran for the woods to hide and fight.  Most were later caught, but a few survived in the forest and woods.  It must have boggled the minds of the Nazis when they learned that the Jews had taken German weapons and escaped–leaving a nice little fire for the Germans to put out.

I would imagine that stealing guns from the Germans must have seemed like “having a prayer from God answered”.  Long live Samuel and Kalman!  Good work guys—may you live forever!

These two nuclear powers of Europe also pledged to work with one another on the following:   A).  threats from Cyberspace   B).  issues regarding the militarization of space  C.)   the sharing various testing facilities  D).  the formation of a jointly formed rapid reaction force consisting of 5000 troops.

From a military perspective, this makes excellent sense.  If these two nations would have combined their military forces several centuries ago–instead of fighting one another over and over again–they probably could have taken over the world!  LOL!

During the years I spent researching the prophecies of Nostradamus, I stumbled upon something that looked like a “future version” of NATO–and now it has somewhat arrived into the real world.  Nostradamus used the name “Ogmios” to refer (or to “allude” to) a future European military leader (or military force) who will one day fight the future “third anti-christ” when he and his forces invade Europe by land and sea.  I have sensed something of this nature occurring since the early 1990′s.

Sometimes progress and innovation are late to arrive on the scene.

I could hardly believe what I was seeing as I watched in horror– as the twin towers of the World Trade Center fell to the ground that morning.  The entire event left me in “a state of shock” for several weeks afterward. Truth be known–I think I’m still in a “state of repressed shock” due to the tragic events of 9/11, but I suppose that each of us deals with that terrible memory in our own individual manner. I say “God bless the Victims of September 11th, 2001!” May their souls rest in heaven for eternity.

As strange as it might seem to some people, due to my detailed research of Nostradamus’ prophecies, I was totally convinced (as early as the year 1996) that  sometime around the turn of the  millennium (sometime between 1999 and 2002) some type of terrible aerial event was going to occur in New York City involving Muslims. And as fate would have it– I was correct (and very correct indeed)!  Our society’s website contained text which mentioned something of this nature occuring at some point in the future, which is why between the days of 9-11 and 9-13–we received more than 1.6 million hits!

Nostradamus’ quatrains #10-72, 10-74, 1-24, 1-87, and 6-97 appear to directly foreshadow the events of 9-11.  They mention a “great king of terror who approaches a great New City from the sky, near the change of the millennium–resulting in deadly fire, death, and destruction”. Quatrain #9-92 also seems to apply to the events of 9-11. 

The identity of the “great King of Terror” turned out to be Osama bin Laden. And the location of the allusion to ”the great New City” was indeed New York City! All  six of these quatrains contained prophetic elements of truth, written “many years in advance”  of their occurrence. In my informed opinion, these quatrains served the purpose of providing “absolute proof” that Nostradamus was a true prophet.

I am still amazed by the fact that Osama bin Laden has still managed to escape justice for the crimes that he planned and successfully executed that day. Our nation can send men to the Moon, and space-craft to Mars, but for some strange reason we have failed to capture Osama bin Laden and hold him accountable for his terroristic deeds. To me this still seems odd, and hard to swallow, in terms of justice and punishment.

 In his typical “schizophrenic style” of verbal communication Iranian President Ahmadinejad called his new Striker missile “an ambassador of death”, only then to add “its main message is of peace and friendship”(which enlightened spiritual minded American Indians might have refered to as “someone who speaks with a forked tongue”)!

The Striker missile, which is 4 meters long and amounts to a pilotless drone style “flying bomb” has the ability to make preemptive strikes against any perceived threat–according to Ahmadinejad.  Then again, in his “schizophrenic style”, President Ahmadinajad exclaimed ” he would never strike first”! So, depending upon “which half” of his schizophrenic brain you wish to believe–his new missiles are either intended for peace, or for war! My guess is that he has war in mind–and not peace.

Iran’s new missiles are intended to “cut off the hand of any aggressor before it decided to make an aggression” said Ahmadinejad. Hmmm, to me that sounds like a missile intended to operate as a weapon of for pre-emptive strikes in the region.

I am quite sure that the military forces of Israel and NATO are monitoring the military actions of Iran to make sure that they remain “contained” in the middle eastern region of the world.
