THE X-37B ORBITAL TEST VEHICLE MAKES ITS DEBUT, by VICTOR BAINES
The USAF will launch a new robotic space craft (according to news sources)that will conduct test while orbiting in, before gliding back to Earth (like space shuttles do).
The pilotless craft is remotely contolled (like drones used by the airforce in the Middle East).
The government has spent millions of dollars on the X-37-B program, and its ultimate purpose remains a military secret. Its much smaller than a space shuttle (only 29 feet long and 9.5 feet tall–with a wing span of 15 feet).
